Ballistic body armor VST-3

The light assault ballistic body armor VST-3 provides user protection to the chest, back, lateral sides of the body and groin (by the retractable and detachable groin protection).

The ballistic panels are made from aramid fabric in order to ensure the ballistic properties and low weight, and sealed in a waterproof polyurethane membrane that protects the panels from the action of climatic factors.

The lateral closing and adjustment system of the vest (made with Velcro stripes and reinforcing buckles) is situated around the waist and ensures the full mobility and flexibility of the user – is designed to fit different body shapes of the same size.

The body armor is equipped with a “Mole System” that provides a full customization of pocket and accessories. The interior carrying pockets plate (front and back) can be easily accessed from outside.

The outer cover is made from CORDURA Polyamid

fabric, PU coated, which has the camouflage pattern requested by the contracting authority.

The inside of the outer cover is made of 3D mesh fabric in order to ensure the air flow between the user and the vest and to rise the comfort of the wearer.

The product comes with a transport bag made from the same material as the outer cover of the vest.

Protection level

IIA, II, IIIA, according to NIJ 0101.06.

The outer covers of the vests can be realized in a wide range of colors: camouflage, desert camouflage ground, black, blue etc.

Available sizes

S, M, L, XL, XXL.

The protected area of the vest, by sizes is minimum:

• Size L: front – 0,188 sqm; back – 0,227 sqm; groin protect – 0,040 sqm;
• Size XL: front – 0,284 sqm; back – 0,223 sqm; groin protect – 0,040 sqm;
• Size XXL: front – 0,223 sqm; back – 0,245 sqm; groin protect – 0,040 sqm;

Weight

without ballistic plates, groin protection and pockets

• Size L: max. 3,050 kg;
• Size XL: max. 3,150 kg;
• Size XXL: max. 3,450 kg.

The weight of the groin protection is 0,45 kg.

Labeling of the vest and ballistic panels is made according to the NIJ 0101.06, in the language requested by the contracting authority.

The body armor can be supplied with inscription outer covers and tactical pockets made according to the beneficiary’s request.
