Mecanismul care sta la baza solutiei propuse este cunoscut drept Lubrificatie elasto-poro-hidrodinamica (XPHD) si a fost evidentiat inca din 2000 in cadrul UPB. Efectul de amortizare provine din disiparea energiei de impact prin frecarea viscoasa a fluidului expulzat prin materialul poros la comprimarea prin impact. Cu cat impactul este mai puternic, cu atat comprimarea este mai accentuata, porozitatea materialului scade, cresc\u00e2nd rezistenta la curgere si presiunea generata.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dezvoltare la nivel de model experimental (celula de amortizare) s-a desfasurat in perioada anterioara in cadrul unui proiect PN-II-PT-PCCA la care au colaborat doi dintre partenerii actuali ai propunerii (UPB si STIMPEX S.A.).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Testarea celulelor de amortizare, a fost realizata in diferite configuratii si niveluri de energie atat pe standurile din UPB cat si pe o instalatie cu propulsie pneumatica din dotarea ATM. Rezultatele au aratat ca forta de impact se reduce la jumatate atunci cand au fost folosite celulele de amortizare.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proiectul actual prevede doua etape de testare (TRL 5 si TRL 6). In prima etapa vor fi realizate si testate sectoare de casca care inglobeaza un sistem de capsule de amortizare interconectate. Prin aceste teste se urmareste stabilirea unei structuri optime a elementelor de amortizare.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Testele din etapa a 2-a se vor realiza cf. standardului STANAG 2920 pe casca dezvoltata la nivel de prototip industrial de serie mica. Prototipul va fi supus unui program de testare operationala, prin care se va demonstra functionalitatea in conditii relevante. Se urmareste realizarea unei tehnologii noi de fabricatie, ce va presupune procesarea simultana a mai multor elemente de amortizare pe standuri de lucru specializate pe operatiuni, in vederea cresterii productivitatii muncii.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OBIECTIVE<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200bIn vederea indeplinirii scopului propus in cadrul proiectului, s-au stabilit urmatoarele obiective:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fabricarea produsului casca de protectie echipata cu componente de amortizare din materiale poroase imbibate cu nanofluide ca prototip industrial de serie mica de catre SC STIMPEX SA, pe tehnologiei dezvoltata de UPB;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transferul de tehnologie si de know-how cu privire la componentele de amortizare si disipare a socurilor catre SC STIMPEX SA, care devine astfel primul agent economic din Romania care poate oferi acest tip de casti de protectie, devenind competitiv si pe plan mondial;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Development and maintenance of a sustainable partnership between STIMPEX SA, UPB and ATM, based on the complementary concerns of the three institutions in the field of ballistic protection, subsequently offering the possibility of capitalizing on other R&D results of UPB and ATM through technological transfer and introduction into manufacturing;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Orienting part of the income of the economic agent STIMPEX SA towards research, by financing and assimilating some R&D products of UPB and ATM, for the purpose of their commercial exploitation on the domestic and international market.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 3rd final stage of the project presents the achievement of the final objective of manufacturing the product protective helmet equipped with damping components made of porous materials soaked with nanofluids as a small-series industrial prototype. In support of this goal, experimental activities were carried out to test the helmet under bullet impact conditions and with cylindrical projectiles on a gas cannon. The technological manufacturing solutions based on gluing the encapsulation membrane using high-frequency currents were improved along with the other technological stages of filling and preparing the porous cushions. Testing on the gas cannon allowed a better understanding of the damping mechanism under controlled laboratory conditions by evaluating the impact force as a function of the projectile energy. Testing in the polygon allowed only a qualitative assessment of the damping capacity by measuring the deformation produced by a cal. bullet. 7.62mm fired from a \u201cTT\u201d type pistol upon impact with a classic helmet (these measurements were considered reference) and upon impact with a helmet with shock absorbers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><object class=\"wp-block-file__embed\" style=\"width: 100%;
